March 7, 2011 – Buena Park, Calif., – Shelly BMW of Orange County in Buena Park confirms, BMW has reported successful sales for February 2011.

BMW’s February sales of 19,919 vehicles, was an increase of 10.8 percent from the 17,971 vehicles sold in the same month a year ago.  

“BMW continues its sales momentum because of its high-quality products and services,” said Darren Richie, Shelly BMW’s General Manager. “BMW drivers expect luxury vehicles and premiere service, and as a brand we continue to delivery which results in higher sales. We’re pleased with our success and plan to continue leading the way,” he said.

Sales of BMW brand vehicles increased 8.7 percent in February for a total of 16,416 compared to 15,100 vehicles sold in February of 2010.

In February, best performing vehicles included the new X3 SAV – February was its first full month of U.S. sales - up 466.1 percent to 1,987 units; the 5 Series, up 85.6 percent to 4,212 units and the 7 Series, up 23.4 percent to 1,109 units.
